Hi everyone,

I have a very basic confusion for which i need solid answers based on some authentic reference.

What is the difference between the following pressure terms?

1. Design pressure

2. MAWP

3. MAP

4. Operating Pressure

5. Max Operating Pressure

6. Max design pressure

Some of them are defined by BPVC code like MAWP and Design pressure but others are not. I will really appreciate it if somebody clear my confusion by citing authentic reference.
