Dear All,

 

I want to know what is the need of Flash Gas Compressor in any Upstream oil and gas facility .. What is understood is It is required to get all gas from condensate separator which necessary separates all gases from inlet KODs like Flare KOD, HP Fuel gas KOD, LP Fuel KOD , Compressor suction drum and this gas is compressed to very high pressures like 60 barg and then sent to second stage of compresor..

 

But i did not understand it need and why it is sent to second stage compressor

your question is very vague and difficult to comprehend. If you have a simple PFD, it might be easier to understand your question.

Please find P & ID of flash gas compressor package here...Please advice me about simulation of utilities of this package also.. Can we configure like start permissives for all utilities? Also want to understand flash gas compressor purpose ...
