[CHEMSTRONG]

Dear ALL,

 

In my plant, there is a centrifugal compressor ( 2 stages), intercoolers and after coolers are also there... with suction and discharge drums between stages....So my antisurge valve line goes from second stage discharge drum to suction drum of fists stage.. I want to understand why it is like this? What will happen if i put antisurge line between discharge line of compressor and suction line directly?
