I think more information would be needed to understand. Perhaps you just want to calculate column efficiencies? There quite some threads on the forum talking about that. Example below.

Hi refer book by Norm Lieberman, A working guide to Process Equipment and chapter-10 "Steam Strippers". It is a great piece of info.
