Hi,

 

Any one please brief me about Self regulating valve.

 

Is Sizing  of Self regulating valve is same control valve  as per ISA_750101

As far I know

size the self regulating valve in the same way as control valve. Fill the data sheet with Min/ normal / Max process condition and title will be self valve rather than control valve.

As self regulation valve work on some set pressure, So what is criteria for set pressure of regulating valve.

Dear fallah,

 

Its is set pressure of self regulating PCV. And it is  regarding to process requirement so that pressure at demand point shall not be more than require.

 

Iam preparing a datasheet for self regulating valve ,in which i required to mention set pressure (Upstream pressure) of valve.

If the pressure at demand point shall not be more than required, then the pressure of PCV downstream should be set at prespecified value...

 

Anyway if you can upload a simple sketch of the system it might you can get better reply...
