Dear All,

While reading the attached file, i came to know of the parameter circulation ratio (mass basis) "Circulation Ration (Mass Basis). I am unable to understand the term. I need some help to sort it out.

Kindly review the attachment.

Thanks and regards,

I don't see any attached file. I imagine the circulation ratio refers to the circulation rate:water being removed ratio.

Generally, you want to start your design with 3 gallons of TEG in circulation for every pound of water you want to remove - so a 3:1 ratio.

However, that does not give you any idea of TEG losses. The best way to predict TEG losses is to get the calculation from your ProMax model. If you are designing or operating a TEG plant, you should already have a ProMax model of it.
