Does safeguarding for steam eductors for a failed upstream steam let  down valve need to be considered as a scenario? In otherwords if the let down control valve fails and higher pressure steam then goes through the eductor does the downstream motive steam increase in pressure and cause possible overpressure somewhere?

What about if the the eductor motive outlet steam becomes blocked.  Does the steam then route through the where the vacumm pull was and cause overpressure to that path or maybe over pressure the eductor piping upstream of the eductor? Thanks for any help.

It is impossible to answer this question without knowing configuration of the system, design parameters, and the existing (available) safeguards. If you can upload the P&ID at least, we can try to be more specific.
