suppose you are sucking in oil through a tube or pipe lets say 1cm diameter but there is a hole at one of the walls of the tube. Now if this hole was placed in a bath of water what will happen? Will the water enter into the tube. What effect will increasing the diameter of the hole have? What effect of increasing the length of the tube until the hole have?

thanks

It depends.  Using basic fluid flow principles, calculate the "pressure at a point" inside the tube at the hole and outside the tube at the hole.  What is the pressure difference between these two points?  THAT, will tell you what will happen.  By changing the tube length and hole diameter in the aforementioned calculations, the answer to your other questions will be answered.
