Hi everybody.

We have an aqueous solution of an organic compound. We purify both water and organic compound via distillation column. The question: is it possible to adjust the pH or conductivity of water by just using the distillation column and process. (water is light key, organic is heavy)

I know with a resin we can easily get the desired purity but without a resin is this possible to reach desired pH and conductivity values. (changin reflux flowrate, steam flowrate, NTU etc)

Thanks
