Hi everyone,
I am a final Chemical Engineering student and designing the high temperature shift reactor. I  have no placement experience and have never seen a shift reactor before. In my report I need to mainly include the unit design (mass, energy and material balance), application of rigorous method and mechanical engineering design.
That would be great of any of you can send me the information about water gas shift reactor especially the material selection or design of the reactor. I am willing to read as many as articles or books so if you cna recommend me any good books on WGSR, please let me know. Thank you so much.

Hi Katrina,

There is plenty of discussions in these forums on the same subject. I'd suggest you use the "Search" feature in the upper right side of the main ChE Forum window, and type "water gas shift reactor". I tried, and so many results came out. These are some of the past threads:

http://www.cheresour...reactor-design/

http://www.cheresour...-mass-balances/

http://www.cheresour...-complications/

There are 77 search results. I leave you to explore the subject.
