Hi ;

After NGL fractionation train i obtained Propane and butane. to produce LPG, i read in literatture that we need to mix 30 % of propane and 70% of butane. I don't know how to control the fractions !

Anyone can help me please ?

Is the question related to the simulation model, or you are asking how to manage the excess component after fractionation?

Actually i didn't get how to control the fractions on hysys  since composition of butane and propane leave depropanizer and debutanizer with fixed composition and flow.

Please share the configuration, feed stream parameters, and tower specifications of this plant. How can anyone troubleshoot in the dark?

Let me say that LPG specification is not cast in stone. There are as many specifications as countries in the world. Compositional specification for C3 and C4 is - up to my knowledge - the least common. You can Google the term for more information.

Thanks Mr Dejan ! i googled LPG composition in my country and i found 30% wt% propane 70 wt% butane .

Finally i got an idea i installed a tee after the depropanizer then i mixed propane and butane and i adjusted the propane mole flow with a target value of  30% in product ! ;)

I see a 30/70 and 40/60 composition split very often outside the USA.
