Look at the spreadsheet prepared by Ankur: http://www.cheresour...n-calculations/

You need to know the amount of excess air in your calculations.

You need composition of the flue gas. From the composition, calculate the average molecular weight. From the average molecular weight and volume of flue gas, you can get weight. From the weight of flue gas and weight of fuel burnt, you can get the weight of flue gas per kg of fuel.

From the specific heats of the components, and the composition of flue gas (weight%), you can get the specific heat of flue gas. Specific heat is additive on weight basis.
