 Hi,

Please I'm simulating CO2 removal - Absorber-stripper process using HYSYS. The column converged but the problem is that I can't have the right flow, most of the streams goes to gas product composition

Can anyone help

In an amine sweetening process, most of the inlet gas flow should go to the gas product.

A converged model can still be light years away from optimum. What amine are you using? How do you know you do not have the right flow? Are you trying to match plant data? If so, Hysys will not likely match actual plant data for amine sweetening processes. You need to use a more specialized tool, like ProMax.

We need a lot more details if you want us to help you.
