Hello,

I am doing a simulation of an acetone production process. I have one requirement that the acetone is 99 wt% and has at least 12,500 kg/hr flow rate. My goal is to maximize the economic potential of the process.

When I turn off the sensitivity analysis and keep my design spec for my 2nd column to produce 99 wt% acetone, and also my other design spec for column 3 to have 100% water in the bottoms stream, I can get a convergence. However, as soon as I turn on the sensitivity analysis where I define economic potential (EP), I get a control panel error. I am not sure how to remedy this. Also, is there a way to upload aspen files onto this forum?

Thanks

P.S. Why can't you paste images into your post? It would be a lot easier if you guys could see my PFD
