I personally prefer "Process Heat Transfer" by D.Q.Kern for Heat exchanger design. Its a wonderful book and I would like to suggest the same to you.

A book just published that has an extensive chapter of nearly 500 pages on heat transfer is " Ludwig's Applied Process Design for Chemical and Petrochemical Plants.
