good evening everybody!!

I'm working on a project about CO2 removal using MEA, it's my graduation project and i need to simulate the process using aspen plus

i already tried to simulate the chemical absorption between CO2 and MEA, using a radfrac column and under specificaftion i selcet reaction from stage 2 to stage 6, then i define the reaction set for my simulation by choosing REAC-DIST

i run the simulation and when i see results--> streams all i have is physical absorption of CO2 and for species MEACOO-, MEAH+ their flow rate is 0, so i assumed that the reaction didn't happen

can anyone please help me or tell me what did i do wrong?

Amine sweetening is not really a strength of Aspen Plus. I would be surprised if you got any meaningful results.
