Hi! I am currently sizing a control valve but I do not know where to start. We have a control valve which was supposed to have a normal flow 323.655914 m3/hr instead of 32.3655914 m3/hr. However, as shown in the datasheet, what was considered is 10% only of the normal flow. We need to change the control valve in order to meet this normal flow wherein 10% of normal flow is the minimum flow and 110% of normal flow is the maximum flow. Thanks. What shall be the Cv of the valve?

There are so many topics on control valve sizing on ChE forums. Have you tried the search feature?

There are also dozens of free resources on the web.

If you look at the control valve sizing equation for liquids, you can easily correlate the flow vs. valve Cv.

Minor quibble, but those significant figures look funny.  32.3655914 m3/h.

Just send the conditions to a valve supplier and let them size it for you.
