Do you have links to find the usual prices of control valve at specific CV and valve size?

Hi ,

You should submit your request to vendors after you have prepared a specification sheet .

I really wish there were databases / sites for pricing information. Not accurate prices, of course. Those will depend on too many specifics. But at least budgetary estimates.

And not just for valves but many other pieces of equipment.

Hi ,
For big engineering companies it should not be a problem , so many projects, they can build a good data base .Definitely more complicated for small companies or small plant like mine .

Yes. Agreed. For a lot of the small / medium sized companies or even consultants / design professionals such a database might be very useful.

Even for pedagogic purposes. I find the students that graduate are totally clueless about anything concerning costs. Not expecting accuracy, obviously, but it helps to have a feel for whether you are looking at a $10,000 item or a $100,000 one. In most cases that intuition is lacking.

I recently got a small valve quoted (Cv of 6) for 1800 USD, if that helps any.
