Sir,

I would like to know 

(1) Excel sheet for moisture calculation is available from internet, we are providing Line pressure and temperature it gives water content, My query is that then why we measuring dew point with instrument?

(2) There are a lot of vapor pressure equation is available for calculating water content, Which type of formula is using in portable dew point instrument to measure vapor pressure and moisture? (if possible explain with example)

Dew points meters vary in their principle. Some of them use radio active principle. Some of them use compression. Simple instruments use direct cooling. They measure actual dew point directly. I do not know which dew point meter  you are referring to.

 

Excel sheets and other calculation methods estimate dew point. Dew point meters give actual dew point.
