Dear all,

 

Anybody knows the meaning and functionality of a baroscopic connection?

 

I have found one in the inlet line to a natural gas compressor.

Sorry, is boroscopic, not baroscopic.

Actually it is borescope - a device that enables you to perform visual inspection of systems where it is impossible for an inspection team to achieve physicall access. See the links below: a brief overview and a video clip on borescope inspection of a turbine.
