Hi engineers,

I have to calculate the inbreathing flow rate of a 10000 cubic meter tank. The tank is insulated and temperature-controlled. Do you think I should consider the required flow capacity due to thermal out-breathing and inbreathing?

Thanks.

What is the chance of your temperature control failing? What would happen if it did?

Maximus85,

Although having the insulation can retard the rate of heat exchange between the tank and the ambient and consequently retard the rate of thermal inbreathing/outbreathing, it might the credit can't be taken for such retard due to the chance for loss of insulation...
