I intend to open a new topic about pipeline pressure testing and its relation to design/operating pressure

firstly, i divide the area of interest to two main categories: 1- Offshore, 2- Onshore which we may have two division for each such as followings:

1- Air pressure testing (Pneumatic test)

2- Water pressure testing (Hydro-test)

what is the relation between pressure test and design pressure for the 4 above mentioned case?
