[The curious one]

Have anyone ever used a Vacuum ejector operating with compressed air as motive medium in any application, or has come across any such application?

 

I feel that the easy availability of compressed air in any industrial plant, the lower capital cost of any dependent / auxiliary equipment for the same and the excellent reliability and low maintenance requirement of any ejector equipment may make it a interesting prospect for vacuum generation.

 

Would like to know to know more about the applications in order to make a in depth study.

 

Any help on this matter and inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Air jet ejectors have already been invented. Some self priming centrifugal pumps also use it.
