Neha123:
What Breizh has contributed is excellent material regarding gas flow. However, what your query also involves is LNG - LIQUEFIED natural gas.
LNG is very pure natural gas that has been converted into a saturated liquid state. It is devoid not only of contaminating contaminants, but also of any solid components. As a near-cryogen it is a liquid that is as pure as liquids can get, such as liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid CO2, etc.. etc. I know because I've had the opportunity to pump and transport all of them in the past and I've never had to contemplate or worry about any "errosion" taking place. These cryogenic liquids flow with no errosion being considered in the piping, fittings, or valves.
Why are you concerned about errosion taking place in LNG pipelines? Is this a special case of contaminated LNG - such as with sand particles?
