Sea water is used as cooling water at the offshore. Cold sea water is lifted from certain depth of sea i.e. lowest temperature and pump installation possibility.

While returning the water, it needs to be send it to X meter below LAT i.e. sea water lowest asto. Tide. Can anybody tell me what shall be X value. Is it based on following

  1. Aquatic life i.e. thermocline level
  2. Liquid seal to avoid gas leak

Any suggestion on X value (depth) ?
