Hello

I want to put presuure and temperature to excell and get next Z-factor of my gas(various range).

I started to work with Aspen ASW. I have stream(fuel gas) with composition in Hysys 7.3. I added this simulation to Aspen ASW and copied pressure, temperature and Z-factor to Aspen ASW( Model Variable). After created scenario table and added Pressure and temperature to Input, and Z-factor to output. After run active scenarious. Scenario begins but "not run"(Status).  Due to nothing happen I pressed pause. After next run I had message "Exception while running scenario(Cannot reset solver while it is still running)"

Can you help me with this issue? What i do wrong?

you may consider some basic introduction such as the pages created by Aspen

a possible problem with Simulation Workbook is the syncronization (you need to complete a complex task before to exchange data),
of course there are alternative methods to interface a thermo engine  with tools such as Excel, Mathcad or Matlab,
I prefer VBA, see here the same example solved with a library via VBA,

you may also consider the VBA examples provided in this forum for Hysys and other simulators...
