Hello,

Greetings!

I would like to understand the main selection criteria for installation of continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) for the measurement of SOx, NOx, CO, Particulates at the outlet of stack of any fired heater equipment or furnace (except for the environmental norms).

Based on heater or furnace capacity is their any thumb rule which governs the installation of CEMS, e.g. If the heater capacity would be more that XYZ megawatt (MW) capacity then we need to monitor emissions on continuous basis and if we have small heater than the specified capacity we don't need CEMS.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Pankaj
