Hi, does anyone know where to buy a database of crude oil assays? I found that there are some Chevron, Statoil databases and also e.g. Knovel is advertizing a book Crude Oil Assay Database. I am looking for a database with hundreds of commercially available crudes. Also I was told that the same can be available in PRO/II or Hysys as add on.Does anyone have any experience with this and can recommend where to go?
Thanks

Some of the crudes publishing date are very old. Becarefull using database for creating crue Assays. For example Basrah light API showing 33 API, nowaday this API 29.

Currently there are 466 assays in HYSYS database and 194 assays in AspenPlus database. Those databases are included in default licence. You should contact AspenTech Support to figure out how old they are.
