Greetings!

Over the past few months I have been working with some existing client HYSYS models and in some of these models I have noticed a consistent extension appear. Now what's interesting is that there should be no link between clients and their respective models.

The extension I have found is not one of the generic ones that comes with the usual HYSYS package. The extension has the following ID: a4844dd0-7f10-11d4-b12c-00c04f8a0a5f. To my knowledge this extension does not really perform any specific tasks (I did not have to create a workaround) for any of the models that contained it.

So I'm left wondering if this extension is some sort of artifact. Maybe something that was created by some HYSYS maestro years ago that has survived from model adaption and alteration. Has anyone else had this same issue? This inquiry is mostly for the sake of trivia...

Thanks,

Peter,

When you speak about extension, what exactly did you mean? is it like the extension models that are present?

Is there any way you could get a few screenshots or something?

On another note, do you remember when did you start noticing? After a version change?

I shall then try to see if I can replicate your issue?
