i am looking for such pH calculator which can tell how much amount of sulphric acid can be added to bring pH at desired level.

 

for example

 

how much sulphric acid will be added to bring pH from 9 to 7 in cooling tower with system volume 4700m3 and circulation rate 12000m3/hr

Hi ,

You should perform a lab test with a sample of your water and a Ph probe calibrated to determine the Sulfuric acid needed . Then by calculation you can extrapolate to your system the volume/mass  required . The challenge will be to tune the parameters of the controller to reach the set point .

 

Note :

Sulfuric may create damage to your cooling water basin , be aware that Concrete + Sulfuric are not the best friends!  

These days there are treatment programs which are working at "free " Ph .
