Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there are any different between differential pressure of fluids and differential pressure of gases when calculating the design pressure for material. Could someone open my mind?
Thanks a lot.

trungphu,
Your description isn't so clear that one could response to the relevant query...

Liquids, having a much larger density than gases, have much larger pressure excursions during static and dynamic events. Knowing this and to provide safe designs can lead to higher design pressures for liquids, everything else being equal.
