Hello

What inspection techniques can be used to evaluate the degradation in oil and gas separators?

Can we evaluate the degradation without entering the vessel?

Can you recommend any book/website that discusses this topic?

Regards

Refer to API RP 572 "Inspection of Pressure Vessels" for description of methods and their application/limitations, as well as API 510 "Pressure Vessel Inspection Code".

Some earlier revisions are available on the internet. For example: https://law.resource...pi.510.2006.pdf

So, what is inside that you want to inspect? Do you have performance data that indicates to you that it is not functioning as it should? And what does that performance data show?
