Hi everyone,

I
 am working on preparation of a material requisition document for a steam primary reformer package of a methanol plant, I know this document composed of sections such as "Purpose", "Definition", "Document Precedence", "Codes and Standards", "Reference Documents", "Scope of Supply and Work",  "Technical Notes" , "Inspection and Testing", "Preservation and Protection", "Requirements for Documents" , "List of Attached Documents" and "Minimum Spare Parts Requirement" but I am not sure that these sections completely meet vendor's requirements.

A complete sample of material requisition document for similar projects can be quite effective and useful.

I am new in this discipline and actually motivated to do my job as well as I can.

 I really appreciate it if any friend help me about it.

sarv,

You can add following sections to your MR:

-Available utilities and their supply rate

-Available footprint to locate the package

-Conditions (flow rate, pressure, temperature, composition,...) of feed(s), product(s) and utilities at package battery limit

And so on...

Vendor would need to such info to be able to provide an offer to meet the purchaser's requirements...

I am sure you are working for an engineering company or engineering wing of an epc?  also I take that you are required to produce RFQ / MR by a client; I would be very surprised if the client gave such task if you don't have past documents and work experience (when I say you, I mean your company); so don't you have a sample in your company?

secondly, instead of asking for name of additional sections you asked for a sample document; pray why don't YOU  give what you have prepared - the actual document instead of skeleton- so that we can see what is presented and how far you have come in completing the document

thirdly, check the tender / bid documents of various companies (use the keywords RFQ -request for quote, RFP - request for purchase etc apart from MR - material requisition); I can see many tender, bid and rfq online

finally, BOBBY is a senior member in this forum; humility shows your education and experience;
