I wish to calculate Solid-Liquid (equilibrium) points with Prode Properties for mixtures Naphtalene - Acetone etc.

the file doesn't include BIPs for all binaries and I need to do data regression,

the manual gives an example for methanol-water but I do not understand how the limit of 0.4 (max methanol fraction in water) is estimated,

does that depend from the ability of the model (CPA) to fit the SLE data points ?

correct,

for  methanol-water Prode Properties predicts freezing point depression with errors below 1.5 K (methanol fractions 0-40%),

for different mixtures you may get different values.
