I am new to natural gas processing.  Does anyone have any recommendations for good level instrumentation for slug catchers?  I am looking for a measurement of the hydrocarbon liquid and the water boot level.

When the slug catcher water boot will automatically drain when the water level reaches a high setpoint, and continue draining until a lower level setpoint is reached.

There are many challenges to reliable level measurement, particularly in the water boot, due to hydrates, fouling, variation in incoming liquid flow rates.  Can any of the more experienced natural gas engineers recommend some  level instrumentation for this application?

Thank you for your help.
