Hi all,

I'm sourcing a dosing pump for a resorcinol mixture. For those of you who have never heard of it (which was me up until this project) resorcinol is a meta isomer of benzenediol. The mixture is 20%w/w resorcinol with the remainder being an nonylphenol ethoxylate surfactant.

I'm looking to use a progressive cavity pump which brings in the issue of stator and universal joint materials. I've had some people say that can't supply me a pump as soon as I say the word benzene, but I've found a resource (http://legacy.shurfl...try/CCChart.pdf) that lists viton as a compatible material. I was wondering if anyone had any experience that might confirm this so I'm not just hoping the pump manufacturer gets this right.

Any and all help is much appreciated.

Cheers.
