Dear Fellows,

I am working on finding the ways of preserving a gas plant which will be shut for 1 year due to unavailability of Gas stream. Please guide me towards the possible ways of saving the process Equipment.

For the time being, the technique we have used ,we have filled Heat ex-changers with Nitrogen gas and the main process vessels like Amine absorb-er,TEG Absorb-er,Production separator, knock out vessels, flash drum ,re-boilers and strippers with sweet natural gas at 50 PSI.

My Question is ,Is this action enough to preserve a plant of Design Capacity of 30 MMSCFD for an year or so or any other solution is available.

You may want to get in touch with specialty companies such as Cortec for further info.
