In our project,we have two component one of them liquid phase at 20 Celcius and second is gas phase at 200 Celcius. We want to heating liquid component with gas component. 

Can we use shell n tube heat exchanger for this system? or how can we do this ?

You could but more information is needed. Could you put your process information into spec sheet form?

The simple answer to your query is yes, you can use a shell and tube heat exchanger.

Hi,

Provide more info on this so that suitable option can be suggested. If the liquid and gas are ok to be mixed you can go for direct contact heat exchange in a drum with random packed bed. Shell and tube heat exchanger is always possible. Specify the process data along with constraints such as allowable delta P, we will suggest suitable TEMA type if you have already decided to go ahead with shell & tube heat exchanger.
