Hi,

 

I am researching about controbility of vacuum distillation column but i couldn't find references about it, i will appreciate if any can suggest references about control strategies and APC  control of these columns. Is pressure control of column the major difference?

I red the paper, according to it the control strategies are the same as atmospheric columns as long as pressure is constant or controlled but how is control of the columns which don't have accumulator or overhead flow such as those that overhead flow goes through vacuum system? different control strategies?
