Casper:

You are going to need more input than just composition to predict the flue gas temperature.

Please tell us the whole story.

In my case, regenerative combustion system. I have gas composition  by volume, heating value (kcal/Nm3) and excess air ratio (1.2). I have to find flue gas temperature.

Dear Casper,

1. What you need is just an EXCEL spreadsheet.

2. Do enthalphy/energy balance across the system

3. Use GOAL SEEK function to determine the exhaust gas temperature.

Good Luck

S.Ahmad
