I am a completing my B.Tech in Chemical Engineering in India. I wish to pursue Masters course but I am in dilemma regarding the future job prospects because of decline in Chemical industries. Is  it still good to opt for process designing courses (where I'm interested) or renewable energy is a better option (I've done some research work on the same - Solar cells) ?

I believe there are well educated people who can help me with the same on this platform. Kindly make me aware regarding the growing and future trends.

Thank you for your time.

Dear Mayur,

I suggest go for Masters if time and money is not a constrain. Because after master you have more option for Academic jobs as well as Government Jobs. Renewable is looks very optimistic but in solar there is more scope for Electrical engineer. In other area still in India there is not much chance.

I hope this will help.

Good luck

Manoj
