Do you know any standard about installation pressure gauge in pump suction?

i did refer to typical process standard, it should be located before the pump suction inlet nozzle or before reducer (if has reducer).

Pressure gauge at the pump suction is generally installed when the pump fluid is at saturated conditions. The gauge will help the operator to avoid cavitation of the pump.
