We have the steam conductivity analyzer before the steam turbine and the results can be seen on DCS screen. Our aim is to make cross-check the conductivity analyzer. It is very hard to make conductivity analysis in laboratory.

In order to cross check conductivity analyzer, what can we do?

Digital conductivity meters are available with many manufacturers. You an find on web. You can use any one.

There are not same results between the automatic analyzer and digital conductivity meter. How can we check the automatic analyzer instead of digital conductivity meter?

Hi ,

Can you check with your vendor for calibration ? Probably like any analyser a verification/calibration plan is required .

Good Luck,

Breizh

Rerer to Betz Dearborn Hand Book Chapter 52 for conductivity calibrations. You can get a standard resistor from the vendor also. Lot of information is available on web. Type "standard conductivity solutions" in google search box and see.
