A re-circulation line from brackish water pump discharge header back to storage tank is to be provided. What should be the height of re-circulation nozzle in the brackish water storage tank? Should it be below 'LL' of the tank or between 'NLL' normal Liquid Level and HH? Kindly advice guidelines on the nozzle heights in storage tanks please

RUBABU,

 

Recirculation nozzle height could be at the top of the tank and can be extended to any level via an internal dip pipe...in general if LL level is sufficiently above the bottom it's better the outlet to be below LL otherwise the proper height might be between LL and NLL...
