Hi,

I am trying to determine a boiler efficiency for the boiler I am designing however due to the components of my fuel gas I cannot seem to find any acceptable estimates. I have attempted to use the ASME Power Code method  however to my understanding the flue gas temperature is required to determine the boiler efficiency when using this method. As I need to find the boiler efficiency to find the flue gas temperature I cannot use that.

Is there any other way I could calculate the boiler efficiency or will I just be forced to use an estimate?

Thanks.
