Hello,

I am trying to size a metering pump which pump 12.5% NaOCl under ambient temperature. I need properties at different temperature than those found in MSDS (usually fixed at lower Abm. temperature, such as 20°C).

Anybody has an idea where to obtain the properties at different temperature? I used google and had no luck.

Thank you.

Regards,

Leo

J_Leo,

I use the Oxychem Sodium Hypochlorite handbook for bleach calculations and they have vapor pressures for 12.5 wt% Sodium Hypochlorite solution from 9-48 degrees C (page 16).  Google search for oxychem sodium hypochlorite handbook will bring it up.  Can't vouch for accuracy but it may help you.

Hello Compjm,

Great! I also found the handbook on the internet. My mistake was I didn't see that small table on the corner.

Leo
