We have NG based steam reformer for production of H2 and CO. We have carried out refomer performance evaluation by our performance monitoring group, which gives -ve ATE of -57. The performance evaluation is done at 60% load. We have obtained about same value of ATE from the evaluation performed by the catalyst supplier. -ve ATE is thermodynamically impossible. What could be the reason for such erratic values obtained even when two different agencies have carried out performance evaluation?
