With Scilab,  since you have access to sources you can link to any software exporting those values,

for multi phase equilibria I have used Scilab 5 with Prode Properties

other libraries as Coolprop etc. are available for specific applications

by the way, Coolprop ("www.coolprop.org") is a open source (C++) version of refprop,

while Prode Properties ("www.prode.com")  is a more complete C++ thermo library

including direct solutions for many flash operations (vapor-liquid-solid) ,

there is a free edition but not open source.

you may try co lan interface but,

1)  slower

2)  for solving flash operations, a much more expensive solution than above mentioned alternatives.

(just to mention a few points)

as alternative you can export results (no active link) and import them in Scilab
