Show your work. Including input and output. Maybe someone will help. First you should compare your input variables with the ones on the vendor sheet. And check some of the references you were given. They will have power calculation formulas.

Hi Bobby..

In my calculation now I am able to get pressure ratio and volumetric efficiency as same as software generated sheet. But still power(HP) is not matching with that sheet. Can you help me with equation of horse power calculation with some correction factor or Efficiency.

You need to check both mechanical efficiency and adiabatic efficiency. There are no mysteries to calculating theoretical adiabatic compression power requirements.

Hi bobby,

I am using efficiency value from this attached graph. This is from Book COMPRESSORS Selection and Sizing by ROYCE N BROWN. But still I am away from correct result.

Second thing is about frame friction. How to consider frame friction in calculated power. And in previouse performance sheet Stage power is (w/Friction). What is meaning of w/Friction.

Another confusion with effect on power due to valve loss. how to consider valve loss in power calculation

Thanks

Brijesh
