Dear All,
I am working on Field Production Facility for separate water and gas from crude oil , we have a heater Treater which the oil outlet from it is controlled indirectly by Pressure Transmitter (PIT), as followings:
1. Level transmitter (LIT) on the oil section inside the vessel sends signal to Gas control valve (at the top of heater ) to close or open according to set point ,and pressure transmitter (PIT) sends signal to Oil outlet control valve to Open or close accordingly.
2. When the pressure inside the vessel matches the set point, the controller send signal to hold the Oil outlet by closing the control valve at oil out let line.
By these control loope oil out let from the Heater is less comparing to oil level inside the oil section of the heater treater since the oil out control valve will not open and let oil flow from to storage tank unless the pressure reach the set point then oil control valve received the signal form the (PIT)
I want to propose to control the pressure inside the vessel directly by sending a signal from (PIT) to gas control vale to open or close according to set point of operating pressure in same time to control the oil level inside the Heater directly by sending signal from level transmitter (LIT) to control vale at the oil outlet.

Please advice if we can go with this proposal or not.

Please note no much gas in our field.
